Why I Dance..I dance for beauty. I dance because it touches lives like words cant. I dance for fun, and because it’s the closest I can ever come to flying. I dance for all of the people in the world that cant, don’t, wont, or wish they could. I dance because no matter how bad of a day you had, what went wrong, or what didn’t happen, dance is always there, just like you left it, perfect in every way. I dance because there is no feeling in the world like the one you get when taking the stage after working for countless hours, days, weeks, and months, and performing it just right. A feeling of perfection, when you know you have danced the best you have ever a feeling of tension in front of the crowd , underneath the lights. A feeling of excitement knowing that you are doing what you love and work for, knowing that there is no other way in the world to feel like this again. I dance because of all the people in the world, of all the languages we speak, we can all understand the language of dance. Because from the moment you step onto the floor or into the studio, all the world is right.
